Do you enjoy working in the outdoors? Do you enjoy getting your hands dirty and doing physical work? We have a unique opportunity to be a Beekeeper in the Doornkloof East, Pretoria area.
Learn how to set-up, monitor & maintain beehives on a farm for the production of honey.
This is a 12-month fixed term employment opportunity to work for 12 months in Doornkloof East, Pretoria. No previous experience or qualifications necessary.
Take this opportunity to learn from the best and professionalise yourself in this growing industry. The successful candidates will work Monday to Friday – funded via the YES programme for unemployed South African youth to gain practical work experience.
Role requirement
We are looking for candidates who are:
South African citizens, aged 18 to 28 meeting BBBEE criteria.
First-time participant in the YES programme.
Currently unemployed.
Grade 12 with a passion for working outdoors on a farm.
Strong communication skills.
Self-motivated, able to follow instructions with strong attention to detail.
Responsible and trust-worthy, able to work with minimal supervision.
